BDSM dialogues
2021-in progress
BDSM Dialogues is a multiproject formed by different artistic research works, using BDSM practices from a transfeminist and cuir/queer positioning.
With these projects we intend to analyze and look for new ways of carrying out affective communication and sexual practices through BDSM, as well as producing a contrasexuality that make us possible to touch each other in non-normative ways.

This multiproject started in 2021 with Breaking the Border of the Skin, in which we analyze how, through a bite, the subject who is being bitten receives part of the identity of the person who bites and vice versa. This project was done through a plaster cast of the bite and a photograph of the marked body.

We made an experimental text, published in the magazine Parole de Queer, in which we developed an internal monologue in two voices and, while we theorized about BDSM, we told our positioning and personal experience. We also wrote the text for the fanzine Free Hormones, for the publication Súperbollo Against Binary Code, from Parole de queer and GalletaMaría.
Penetrate with Teeth: Stone* and Asex Practices from BDSM is a performative action around the relationship between stone* and asex identities from BDSM practices. We use artistic methodologies as tools to find sexual practices that experiment with the contrasexuality of these identities.

Performance
We think about the stone* as a broad concept that covers a spectrum of gender beyond what we traditionally understand as stone: that is, the stone butch as a dysphoric and traumatized person who does not allow themselves to be touched.
We want to present it as a plural identity (stone femme, stone queer, stone cuir, stone butch, etc.) that can have a non-normative position regarding sex. In this sense, we could increase our view of the stone* and stop thinking of these people exclusively as traumatized subjects who sacrifice their own pleasure for their sexual partners. Thinking about the stone* from the asex perspective is a way to change the meaning of what we traditionally understand by feeling pleasure (in a broad spectrum of the word).
To get closer to all this, we made a performative conference in which, while we talked about these issues, we carried out an artistic process (making prints of the bites) and, in parallel, a kink sexual practice.
With this artistic research, we wanted to mutate and redefine the concepts of “touching” and “penetrating”, presenting bites as a non-normative way of getting into the skin and a way of communicating through the pressure exerted by the teeth in contact with the skin.
